John McCain has emphasized his extensive foreign policy knowledge as one of his strongest qualifications for President and to lead us in our war against terrorism. Yet, for someone who boasts about their foreign policy knowledge, John McCain has repeatedly misspoken about who the Iranians are training. Senator McCain was caught, several times, saying that Iran was training al-Qaeda when it’s actually the Shiite extremists that Iran is believed to be training. Was he just trying to scare us by dropping the feared “al-Qaeda” name? This all comes from the same disillusional guy who pointed out how safe Iraq had become while surrounded by half a dozen armed bodyguards in an Iraqi marketplace.
